ElectroBoards are prototyping boards for SMD and leaded components. Extensive use of fine pitch SMD technology today makes prototyping difficult since regular breadboarding doesn't support SMDs.
ElectroBoards not only solves the issue of connecting fine-pitch components but keeps the electrical properties of a PCB. This is done by having a groundplane embedded into each board. This ground plane is connected to a metallized edge that can be soldered edge-to-edge with other ElectroBoards. This forms a system-wide ground plane and offers speedy connections to ground, low impedance ground points and overall excellent electrical characteristics.
On every board there are two small wire holes for each pin that fit our pre-stripped wires or any thin gauge wire for speeding up the connection process. Soldering SMDs can be challenging but with our solder paste and clear instructions it is easy to solder even fine-pitch components using a standard soldering iron.

All ElectroBoards have a standard size (42mil) hole for each pin on a 1/10" grid making them compatible with standard breadboards, headers and connectors. They can easily be mounted on top of a breadboard.
